Pre-conference Tour of Arundel

This tour will take in highlights of southern England’s rich cultural heritage. The tour will begin with a visit to Portsmouth's Historic Dockyard. Situated within the Royal Navy’s oldest working base, the Historic Dockyard includes some of England’s most iconic ships – the Mary Rose, HMS Victory and HMS Warrior, and offers a unique opportunity to see the Royal Navy past, present and future. In the afternoon we venture into the West Sussex countryside, and visit Arundel Castle, one of the largest inhabited and complete castles in England. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the castle, the extensive gardens and neighbouring village with its lovely Georgian and Victorian houses and plethora of unusual independent shops, before ending the day with a traditional English cream tea. Guests must be aged 14 or over.

Conference Dinner

The official Conference Dinner is held in a private function room at a restaurant near the conference venue, and offers conference participants an excellent chance to enjoy delicious food in a relaxed setting while getting to know each other and making new connections outside the main conference environment.
